Ashdale Awards night

So the Ashdale Awards took place on Sunday at Hazlewood Castle Hotel, (A black tie do no less...) we started the evening playing with toy cars, and shooting things with plastic guns, next a bit of gambling- roulette & black jack to be precise where much play money was lost.
We then went through to the old hall, where we settled down for a most excellent dinner, even though Adam stole my pudding.
Then with the tension building the nominees and winners were read out for each hotel, so excited were some folk that they clapped in the wrong places and had to be silenced by a bit of mangerial scowling.
All the winners got a nice plaque and some money, and the rest of us had a right good knees up to the in house disco, drank some pop and cheated on the quiz.

A good night was definitely had by all thanks to all involved in organising the night.
