Now the smoking ban is imminent many staff are left with the real conundrum of whether to stubb the butt or become a smoking wet leper.
What will happen to the traditional industry smoking break? Even non smokers faked smoking for this benefit- "Any smoke will do."
What about the serious puffers and the addicts?
Maybe the Gecko smokes. Who will police him? One of the smoked fish family?
I don't know but maybe we will see a return of the sneaky fag behind the back/ smoked holed hands/ overwhelming mint whiff and of course the " you stink of smoke "quip and the "Do I? It was a really smoky pub" response"!!!!
